Sad News

I am shocked and saddened to hear of the death of Mutley, author of Mutleythedogsdayout. Mr Mutts was amongst my first handful of commenters... I think he used to turn up in a variety of guises, which is the sort of thing that tickles me. He understood the spirit of the blogosphere and played creatively; he was a quirky chap and although I wasn't as close to him as some, I will miss him
My condolences to his partner, Kate.

And to think I never actually read his blog. Looking at it now, it's so funny I wonder why I never discovered it earlier. Still, at least I can spend a few happy hours trawling the archives.

He was a good friend to us all. I hope that Rob and Mutley are re-united wherever they are.

I'm sorry, Scarlet. I know what it's like to lose a blog friend.

It's never happened to me in blog-world, but many times in real life. Mortality is such a rotten trick.

Scarlet, I am so pissed off that I keep missing your entries. You are forthwith promoted to dangle from my sidebar where I can keep a better eye on you.

RIP Mutley

Let's all raise a pint of Old Lesbian No. 3 in honour of one of the most creative and imaginative bloggers in BlogsVille.

To Mutley!

And Miss Scarlet, I am NOT clicking on that video as that song will devastate me even further.

By the way, I am hoping that Mr. Mutley will use your word verification to communicate with us.

I was shocked too, to learn of his sudden passing. He will be missed. He was one of a kind and I enjoyed his tales of his little part of the world. I'm glad he passed on peacefully and he'll be reunited with his wonderful dog, Mutley.

I will miss his sense of humor and the little glimpses of life he shared from time to time. I'll be keeping him and his loved ones in my thoughts.

I am going to pop into Bridport and have a drink at the Ropemakers and then go to Aldi and buy a box of vanilla cushions(Mutleys breakfast cereal of choice) by way of celebrating Mr Mutleys legacy
